Cafeaua si hidratarea

Cafeaua neagră conține peste 95% apă și, conform cercetărilor, când este consumată moderat, nu conduce la deshidratare. Prin urmare, o ceașcă de cafea poate contribui la echilibrul zilnic de lichide 33-35.

  •  Studiile au arătat că consumul de cafeină, până la o cantitate echivalentă obținută din 5 cești de cafea cu cafeină, nu cauzează deshidratare33.
  • Cafeina poate genera un efect diuretic ușor pe termen scurt, însă nu suficient de puternic astfel încât să depășească beneficiile aportului de lichide generate de consumul de cafea 33.
  • Cercetările au sugerat că un consum moderat de cafeină nu are efecte asupra distribuției totale a apei și lichidelor din corp 34 iar consumul mai multor băuturi cu cafeină, precum cafea, poate contribui la îndeplinirea necesarului corpului de lichide 35.
  • Corpul de dovezi disponibile sugerează faptul că recomandarea de a nu consuma cafea pentru a menține echilibrul lichidelor este nefondată.
